FOSSiBOT is a Chinese technology brand known for its portable power stations and related accessories. Now the company is entering the smartphone market, and the first model proved to be protected.
FOSSiBOT F101 is a rugged smartphone designed for lovers of travel and adventure. It is equipped with a 5.4-inch screen with a resolution of HD+ (720 x 1440 pixels) and a refresh rate of 60 Hz, a MediaTek Helio A22 chip, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of built-in memory with the possibility of expansion up to 128 GB.
The phone is designed to work in extreme outdoor conditions and is IP68/IP69/MIL-STD-810G certified, meaning it is waterproof, dustproof and shockproof.
FOSSiBOT F101 received a 3.5-watt speaker with unique grilles located in the center of the camera unit. Its diameter is 36 mm, the volume of the resonator is 11.5 cm3, the volume is up to 123 dB. Hows the battery life? Say, if i wanted to use it as a monitor for my camera on a shoot day for around 9 hours? Also, how bright is the screen outdoors with the sun out? Looking for a new phone to use on my rig

As for the battery, you won't have any problems. But the screen brightness is not the best, especially outdoors.

This phone is supposed to be dual SIM. Have you been able to find the second SIM card slot? I can't find it. But it must be there... What am I overlooking?

I bought this phone for my husband , he is in Scotland and I am in the US right now and video chat is the worst.great picture,but I get so much feedback of my own voice it makes it almost impossible for us to talk . I am wondering if is the big speaker on his phone that is throwing my own voice back at me and if so ,is there a way that there is a normal speaker? Also wondering if the headphone plug in is 'C' type of plug?

I don't know exactly how to solve this problem, maybe he needs to turn down the volume in the main speaker settings. As for the headphones, you can connect wireless ones or use a type-c to 3.5mm jack adapter.
