It looks beautiful! Thinking about ordering some ammonite nodules to prepare myself. Never done it, but looks like fun!. (Here in the Netherlands no ammonites or nautilus fossils anywhere) Because of the latter, planning to do a trip to Yorkshire and have a one to one amonitehunt with you!

I use artist varnish from any stationery supplier, diluted with white spirit to dull to shine down a bit

Hey there, how much is this worth? I just recently found one about this size, perhaps a little bigger but I’m too scared to do anything to it so it doesn’t break. Would it be smart to clean it myself first before selling or take it somewhere? Very curious on how much these are worth how how to get the colors to come out like some pictures

The Zoic site says any kind of varnish would do more harm than good. Does beeswax not count?

Zoic sell a liguid wax called akemi it's absolutely brilliant

Unfortunately not, the tt pen has no waiting list i know the guy personally. There is a company down south that has waiting lists
