Fossils from Wotton-under-Edge

These are all the fossils gathered after two expeditions to a quarry just outside of Wotton-under-Edge.
The quarry is an undocumented site so this may be the first time fossils have been collected from there. After examining the site and fossils I conclude that it would not be considered a site of scientific interest. This is due to the commonality of the species obtained and levels of preservation.
I have been experimenting with different methods and techniques of making videos and I don’t think I will use the one for this video again as I believe it spends too much time on each individual fossil and so the twenty minute video could realistically be shortened to five.
This video took a month to make, going over the estimated timeframe by two weeks due to delays. So from now on I will not be setting timeframes on my videos (for the foreseeable future).

Thank you! Although I only plan on having this as an account to watch videos, chat with people, and learn how to make videos. So when I start my official channel (again) I can start with some great content! Because I find to make a good successful channel you have to either make tons of mid quality videos, or a fewer great quality videos in a set time. The best is lots of great quality videos but it’s extremely hard and has to be full time. I’m planning on going for less frequent, better quality videos. But for this channel it will be anything requested or that I want to share. So feel free to suggest something!

Oh and I’m currently in Sardinia so unfortunately not much for fossils (a few clips of low grade fossils) the landscapes and marine life are amazing! I missed out on stonefish and moray eel shot’s because of a faulty camera but I got constant diving, living echinoderms, and other stuff! (Still have a week left to get more!)

Ha! you walked past the thin ammonite bearing beds. You have to dig for them, they are right at the junction of the oolite and the underlying sands.

Can you elaborate? This area contains early Jurassic sandstones and limestones. However ammonites are absent from the strata.
