I'm a foster parent in Indiana. To even be able to terminate parental rights the child has to be out of the parents care for 22 out of 24 months. 12 months would be amazing. We took our first placement in 2014 her sibling joined our home in 2016 and it restarted the case. We didn't even adopt until 2020. Six long years that baby did not deserve to live in limbo like that.

I pray that one day I can become a foster mom. I wish a foster parent could have stepped in to help my mom to help me. 😭 I have two girls now once they get about 5 or 6 I will consider fostering. I’ve cared for children in traumatic circumstances and I’ve kept strong for them. It feels right in my heart to help these children ❤

Ive been a foster parent for 11 years in August. Ive had 110 kids including the respites. It is a mixed bag and really has a varying degree of enjoyment depending on bond and not on behaviors.

I love Cyndi! ❤️ I was a Foster Care Case Manager in Buckhorn KY for many years until I started teaching! I also had my home 🏡 approved for foster care also..because I didn't have biological kids till later in life & I love kids...I needed them as much as they needed me! They brought a lot of joy Into my life! I have many kids name after me from my foster care kids when I was their case manager...I always went to their special events..like proms, weddings, & even birth of their children... you make a bond with those kids forever..or at least I did! ❤❤❤

My baby boy was born the same day as Juliette and he had his first hair cut at 3 months because his hair was to his shoulders. It was crazy and so emotional!

My daughters foster parents would throw away or take away ANYTHING we bought her for birthdays or Christmas and when she came back home they literally gave EVERYTHING of hers away to someone else and TOLD her they were going to

And they lied to CW about who was going on vacation with them and the person that actually went POSTED my daughter on fb knowing they weren’t suppose to be posted
