Although I wasn't a foster care I was in, my step dad told me to get gone the day after the last child support check my mother was to receiver after my 18th birth data. And somewhat ironically my mother and siblings ended up moving in with me in my rental place after said step father died from a drug induced heart failure about 3 years after that.

Stories like the 2nd one always make me grateful that I went to school where I did. This sort of thing didn't happen at my school. Bullying just didn't happen. Not saying there weren't fights, but when it happened, it was personal. Granted, we didn't have social media back then, but even so, it was a very chill school. If two people were at odds, it was mostly just between them. The friends tended to stay out of it. And it was not uncommon to have a physical fight with someone on Monday, and then smoke weed with them during lunch on Friday. People were free to be themselves there. We even had guys that wore long skirts on the regular. No, they weren't trans, or cross-dressers; they just liked to wear skirts. And no one cared. It was a good school.

I sympathize with the second story, when I was in elementary school (yes I know I was young it started in 4th grade) my best friend of 5 years who’d I’d known since kindergarten started being friends with a new girl who joined, I thought “no biggie we’ll still be a duo!” But suddenly we were a trio, I thought it was fine and brushed it off. Then I’m suddenly I’m a third wheel, I told my friend I was feeling jealous and asked if we could have some one on one time. She just laughed and pretended it was a joke even though I explicitly said it wasn’t. In 5th grade I kept brushing it off but it all came to a head in may, she was planning her birthday party. I have trouble believing the first story. I mean yes there are foster parents that do just want the money but the first one is too far fetched. If the foster parents did only want the money they wouldn't have asked them to come back due to the money being the old foster childs money and not the states money. I was foster child myself thank god i got put with a wonderful family that i still talk to these days. Foster parents arent gonna ask any of their kids to come back to live with them especially if all they want is money. Also, most child services that deal with foster care do not want older people in the house unless its the foster parents. That means no grown kids, no grown anybody. Even if you have your children that are small you still have to get permission for that aometimes.
