I love covers like this, so close to the original I'm new to drumming, this is a great help

Thanks! My goal is to be as close as possible to the originals, so it's good to hear I have helped.

Love it. I'm working on building appreciation for drumming and I this helps a ton discerning the different sounds.

I love your covers, nothing exagerated, just the way the original song Is played, there's nothing better, I Will use this to teach my little 10-year old girl drummer to play this song, which has become one of her favourites.

I'm working on this song for my first gig. Thanks for the resource. I'll be back to check out your other drum covers and your transcriptions.

I always perform this one with my band. I used to hate the song, but I sure love our rock version! Great smooth playing my friend! Awesome!

Alaa A R Thanks! While certainly repetitive, I like this groove and it's pretty fun to play.

Good job :-) Nice and clean. How come you chose the "faint" version of the song?

Brooke Smith Brooke - I did not realize that there was more than one version of this song. I only remembered this from the radio. The website that I get my drumless files from had only this version. Thanks for watching!

Awesome video, buddy. You know, I've been looking for a drum cover of "I heard Ramona sing" by Frank Black, but there hasn't been any luck. Maybe if you want, you can make a video for that song. Again, awesome vids and keep up the good work.

I absolutely try to do any request that gets sent to me. The issue is that I need a drumless version of the song to do a cover and I cannot find a version of that song. I found "Headache" and "Los Angeles" from Frank Black, but those are with cover singers. Is there anything else you'd like to hear?

Lovely, is this like the real drums or is it your interpretation?
@RedeyePerc8 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! I almost always try to play the song exactly like it was recorded. That's true of this one. Sometimes I ad-lib, but not here. There is a free transcription on my website if you are interested. www.redeyepercussion.com/music/PumpedUpKicks_FosterThePeople_redeyepercussion.com.pdf

Dude, thanks! I'll recommend your channel with friends that could be interested. I just saw your comment in a three years old video, and you were right: it's a shame you don't have more views. (Also sorry about my English, is not my native language :'v)
@RedeyePerc8 жыл бұрын
Your English is better than some comments I get from native speakers, no worries :) I would like to have that one video that gets really popular and leads people to my channel, but not yet sadly. If I was a 25 year old good looking girl with a tight shirt, I would get 1,000,000 views per video, but not for me. Take care!
