Your videos are perfect. Informative, often witty and if course a perfect opportunity to see all your lovely greys. My private consultation with you was invaluable and the opportunity to continually check in using your videos is wonderful. Life with our lovely Lottie was initially challenging but soon became manageable thanks to your expert advice and understanding of all things greyhound. Thank you.

I was shocked to see your likki mats half eaten. My greyhound ate half a likki mat and licked it so obsessively and for so long that I thought she would injure herself. Really interesting to see Floppy's behaviour. I'm sure when he does settle he'll be a wonderful dog.

Oops! I probably shouldn't use the tatty ones for videos 🤦♀️ it's meg who likes to nibble at them, that and my furniture! But she always spits the bits out!

we had a good day on sunday with sweeney with his pray drive.took him out to a local pub where other dogs where gathered and un muzzled him..he had a couple of yodels but not as much as usual..walked to another local and passed quite a few other walkers with no problems, got to the other pub with 6 dogs outside and i thought ..here we go...still with no muzzle on..a few whimpers but that soon stopped.a couple went by with 6 cockapoos over the road and not a murmmer..i think im finally getting there with the prey drive..and your doing a great job with floppy..at the moment im thinking when i put the muzzle on he thinks its time for pray, but if i leave it off hes so different..does this sound about right..

I'm jealous of how affectionate Floppy is - after three months, my boy doesn't show any signs of wanting to be touched or patted at all. I was hoping that might change, but now I'm thinking it's just how he is. He likes his space. Which is fine, but it does make me a little sad.

Aww, some are naturally more reserved... Like people. But its still early days with yours so they msy still find a cuddly side 😊

he will come around and find his feet,it does take time for them to setttle into a home which they are not used too..dont feel dis hearted.they are not used to been cuddled but it will change..

@@jwcaninecare As often happens, the moment I posted this comment, the universe sent a telegram to my boy, who decided he was ready to be just a -little- bit more affectionate. I think also it's easy to miss a dog feeling off colour because of something you're not aware you're doing. In my case, I stopped giving him fish oil because of concerns that most fish oils are rancid, and the risks that poses to dogs, and he went off his food as a result. I started factoring in a tiny amount of tinned salmon with his coprice, just enough to flavour it (less than a teaspoon as I'm aware large quantities can cause pancreatitis), and he started eating enthusiastically again, and became a lot happier - and subsequently more affectionate. As always, really appreciate your content. :)
