GREAT Video and the reason why I love Fostoria - TRAINS, TRAINS, TRAINS. WOW - Three trains transferring at one time. I love it when you hear horns sounding, but you cannot tell exactly where the train is at. It's a really great place to watch trains.

Most articles on Fostoria Trains have stated anywhere from 100 to 140, depends on the day also.

I need to get back up that way. Haven't been up there since 1997. Seems strange seeing trains on the old B&O running on the left-hand track. Last I was up there, they still had the old B&O CPL signals and directional running.

AT 3:37 - That's just poetic to me - all that weight gracefully snaking and dancing around one another like a well rehearsed ballet, soon to be hauling *** and rolling off the miles to destinations known and unknown like strangers in the night. Who knows? maybe they'll meet again, but in their consist, will never be the same.

4:44 looks like one of the tractor trailers had a slight mishap of falling down.

My grandmother lived in the little building on the NW side of mid-block underpass years ago. We never knew how she could have slept since she was only about 40 feet from the old B&O and Nickel Plate.

This is the way I liked Fostoria Ohio, without the Railpark and the full Amtrak Platform was still there.

3;35...Love all the pretty lights...although there are a few posistioned that look to be RED instead of YELLOW?

Wow it looks pretty complicated keeping track of where these trains are coming from...is there a sort of pattern in schedule to keep "track"

does anybody know why the middle signal on the 3 signal masts has the red in the middle lens position? What color is in the bottom lens that usually is red? This is a strange bird, the signals look like the newer ones that csx is installing everywhere.

so i'm assuming it's mostly CSX trains that go through here correct?

what about Norfolk Southern, what percentage?

Is that actually true? I knew Fostoria saw alot of trains daily, but not THAT many! Haha, that even makes the Pittsburgh Line look like it needs to step it up a little!! (nvm not really, just bashing NS hehe, don't get me wrong, I'm a Pittsburgh Line freak) But yea, I REALLY gotta get out to Ohio, from what I hear theres a lot of good spots, this one being the SPOT OF SPOTS!! PS, whats the average train frequency per hour?
@dlc5416 жыл бұрын
I'd say about 80% are CSX with about 40%-50% on the East-West (old B&O) line.

now about 80% are on the B&O bc Coal Traffic on the C&O is reducing a ton
