I was never fond of remote dispatching. I first hired on the Erie-Lackawanna as a tower man. Over the course of time the towers were eliminated and these interlockings were controlled from a great distance. I understand the cost savings but the towers served as a visual check on the trains as they rolled past and by being on site to control the territory assigned we could make immediate route changes working in conjunction with towers ahead. We also freed the train dispatcher of the extra work. From tower man to conductor, a true retread. Good stuff, Rowan and yes, we will meet someday in His presence.

Rowan this is just pure magic. The action is so powerful and those aerial shots are spot on. Also the joy in the faces of the enthusiasts is a pleasure to watch. In the UK we have nothing like this for enthusiasts. Indeed all railways are fenced off with security fencing with extra security in key junctions and railway hubs. Look forward to your next video. God bless George

That first autorack is on a track that I personally want to record at and never see a train there. You are lucky on that front. The first autorack with UP is NS 11E from Williamson, VA to Roanoke, IN. That north line is not the CSX Toledo Sub, it is the CSX Pemberville Sub running from Fostoria to Toledo. That slab train is CSX Middletown steel special B522. The intermodal with a BNSF dash 9 is CSX I151, intermodal from Livernois Yard in Detroit, MI to Northwest Ohio ICTF, North Baltimore, OH. That northbound manifest from the Columbus to Pemberville Sub is (I think) L456 heading north to Walbridge from Parsons Yard in Columbus. Very nice video and I wish I could've gone there at that time.
