WELL DONE!!! That was a heck of a hard job with all of those little details. Being a detail oriented perfectionist myself, it was nice to see it all come together like a Lego kit (but much cooler). You should be really proud of yourself, not many restoration experts can say that they have successfully restored a Fotoplayer back to its original form. Amazing video and congratulations! I finally came up with a name for my project of a very peculiar player piano that will be having both the existing player system, and a custom made midi system so I can test my arrangements before having them made! Thinking about calling it the "Play-all Piano" since it can play both rolls and midi, which is almost impossible to find these days. I also gotta finish up this bell unit I'm working on; Florida heat makes it very difficult!

Beautiful, stunning work! I really appreciate the additional tediousity in this video. I love the details, thank you so much for taking the time to film it all for us.

Details like this are my absolute favorite to tackle. Luckily, there was no shortage of odd challenges on this project.

I'm not sure I did! Two wind motors allow one roll to rewind while the other plays.
