WELL DONE!!! That was a heck of a hard job with all of those little details. Being a detail oriented perfectionist myself, it was nice to see it all come together like a Lego kit (but much cooler). You should be really proud of yourself, not many restoration experts can say that they have successfully restored a Fotoplayer back to its original form. Amazing video and congratulations! I finally came up with a name for my project of a very peculiar player piano that will be having both the existing player system, and a custom made midi system so I can test my arrangements before having them made! Thinking about calling it the "Play-all Piano" since it can play both rolls and midi, which is almost impossible to find these days. I also gotta finish up this bell unit I'm working on; Florida heat makes it very difficult!

I was wondering about you making a video about pneumatic percussion effects. I guess you already have that covered?

I restored those well before I was making videos. Now they're buried in the machine.

Somewhere along the way I am sure you told us why two wind motors. Why?
@nateoutsidethevacuum11 ай бұрын
I'm not sure I did! Two wind motors allow one roll to rewind while the other plays.

@@nateoutsidethevacuum cool. I realized after I asked but had watched several and not figure out which video haha. I restored a duo art years ago. Hour videos are excellent. Where are supplies coming from nowadays?
