Just had this fall into my recommended viewings. You will LOVE NS. Born and raised there..live in BC now.... and the landscapes in NS are varied and stunning. So much to see. My aunt and uncle actually converted an old church almost 60 yrs ago on Windmill Rd in Dartmouth. It's no longer there but you definitely felt a sense of peace in their home. Hope you have enjoyed the move and your new home province.

A nice possibility for the bell would be to make a mount for it outside on the property. Imagine a square-ish brick base with the bell and a small peaked roof over it. It could be your door bell!! LOL

My wife and I also bought a place in Nova Scotia which was close to 100 years old. You are about to start a journey and a half. lol I have been waiting to see your new videos of landscape photography in Nova Scotia. Where our house was, we had quite long drives to even get to interesting places. We were 1 hour from the main highway. There is a price to pay for seclusion. From the map you showed in the video, it looks like you're closer to Halifax than we were. We were on Chedabucto Bay near Canso, in the middle of nowhere. I do envy you having the camper so you will be ably to stay overnight where necessary. Can't wait for the new videos.

I knew we’d finally see Gavin’s massive bell, just a matter of time 🤣 Looks cool though so finding a way to keep it would be awesome. Renovation looks fun though, and good luck with it. Top tip for old places: Get yourself a good face mask with proper filters that seal to your face to handle dust (bat crap) etc, not those little paper things, and tough gardening gloves. Number of times I’ve saved my hands from lacerations from old nails or a dose of tetanus while wearing a pair as I fix up and handle old timber is crazy. Now I have another channel to follow! 👍
