What if Walt and Mearsheimer did their research out of the World Trade Towers around 9/11? John Mearsheimer is a realist who says that being a realist essentially means Not understanding reality. There are KZbin videos of JM talking about the 5 burdens of realpolitik. His book on AIPAC was interesting, as was the lack of a book on the Jewish lobby in Germany before WWII. The closest book to a book of that ilk would be the behemoth "Blood and Iron" by Fritz Stern.
