All I could think was that must be how my boyfriend keeps telling me he feels when I interrupt him 🤣. Really put it into perspective for me. I also considered the fact that Noam is known for being long winded (not unnecessarily though) so maybe she has certain questions that are less important and she only wanted to spend a certain amount of time on those. Just speculating.

We have been programmed to become fundamentally weak... first through controlled un-education, consumerism, then comfort and then what people think are conveniences, all of this leading to debt and the detachment from the unification of real people and real life, all methods of control. Now the move has been to create chaos, division and the destabilization of all the former norms. They have organized and are fomenting an atmosphere that will create a global catastrophe never seen before on Earth which will probably cause the murder half of the global population (the eugenicists wet dream) and then who is left will be willing to be enslaved to the point of giving up what was once our naturally evolved essence of humanness (that's if we weren't an alien construct in the first place), but we WILL become functionally the cyborg slaves of these overlords who have been chosen to have all the hidden knowledge that WE have not been privy to for millennia .... and still too many of us sit in front of those screens...willfully oblivious and impotent.

Every time I see Cathy Newman, she is interviewing brilliant people, yet she would rather funnel her vapid ideology into the viewer's ears, than allow them to actually learn something. As horrid as media like Fox News actually is, she is at the very least every bit as bad. When I realized this interview was Channel 4, I almost canceled the clip. Almost immediately I wished I had done, as she makes learning anything impossible.

For several decades I proudly and happily spent my days and nights living on one or another U.S. NAVY ship. I did so because I did not and still do not wish to deal with the Stalinistic nightmare this human strash has to purvey. At 80 years of age I have visited enough Communist countries to know this clown has nothing to offer. I have earned a world history degree and advanced political science degree that I can satisfactorily argue and successfully refute everything this brain dead fool has to present. And I certainly do not wish for my children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren to be condemned to a miserable nightmare this fool considers to be a dream.

Chomsky is such a great thinker! I honestly do not support most of his political opinions. However, I love and appreciate that he is here. He provides a check and balance system. He makes me question my beliefs and why I hold them. He has changed my opinion on many things over the years. We do not all have to agree, but we should listen to and respect opposing views, This is how we grow as a society.

Yes truth be told, however Chomsky fails to mention who those are. He himself is Jewish and is a public disinformer. His Job is to make it look like he is on our side, but steers the blame from the real perpetrators. Chomsky was a part of the Fraternal Order of the B'nai Brith. That is the head of the Jewish Freemasonic lodges. It also oversees all gemtile Freemasons. I could give you a lot more details, but will spare you for now. I read his book, and this interview reflected a lot of what he says in his book (obviously given the question he was asked), and particularly on the points relating to trade deals, I think he danced around what he really just wanted to say which was, "the United States and other industrialized nations are just using other, less developed countries in particular as factories to feed its consumer demand through these supposed 'trade' agreements." Even the amount of revenue generated by the trade that happens between two countries, the U.S and Mexico for example, you'd think that money would find its way down to the workers somehow in the form of increased wages, but labor in countries like Mexico is still very cheap. Only recently, since China's workers began demanding an increase in their wages, did China begin to not seem so attractive anymore to foreign investment. And to top it off, as Chomsky mentions, the middle and lower income country participants in these trade deals are the one that suffer the more deleterious effects of these trade deals because they are forced to lower their own standards and enforcement of regulations so that they will attract the investment they need. I though trade was supposed to be mutually beneficial.

She relentlessly reframes and confines the issue to a narrow discussion of the particular viewpoints and effects of individual--albeit prominent--politicians. The systemic nature of the issues Chomsky talks about are outside, and in fact transcend, mainstream beltway discourse. I think George Orwell's lesser known quote from Animal Farm's introduction, a quote which Chomsky mentions a lot, applies to the interviewer--she received a top education, and so is a victim to elite intellectual pruning.

If you think she's bad then you want to watch Emma Barnett on Newsnight. There's seems to have been a change in interviewing style on British news programmes over the last 12 months or so. The interviewer takes a highly combative stance and constantly interrupts. Emily Maitlis from Newsnight also does this strange thing were she asks the question while doing a phoney sarcastic laugh in order to mock the answer before she's even heard it. It makes the programmes unwatchable because the frankly rude behaviour is embarrassing. Don't get me wrong, politicians do need to be brought back on point a la Paxman when they deliberately don't answer questions but there's no need to be rude.

Noam Chomsky is just as important to Liberal Socialism and true democracy as what Marlin Luther King is to Civil Rights. He is "the father of modern linguistics", Chomsky is also a major figure in analytic philosophy, and one of the founders of the field of cognitive science. He has spent more than half a century at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he is Institute Professor Emeritus, and is the author of over 100 books on topics such as linguistics, war, politics, and mass media. Ideologically, he aligns with anarcho-syndicalism and libertarian socialism which unto itself is a pigeon holed linguistic description of his personal beliefs. He is a man who is listened to by the highly educated and ignored by the severely uneducated.

Screw The Bankers As a "highly educated" person, I call B.S. on the "He is a man who is listened to by the highly educated and ignored by the severely uneducated." Honey, it is the "elite" crowd that wants globalization & open borders. They want One World Order where there are NO FREEDOMS for the people. It takes an extraordinarily vapid mind & bankrupt soul to wish that kind of society on anyone. So, those listening to Chomsky MAY be "intelligent", but they are certainly are not "educated"; they are also highly ignorant & stupid. I know many who have graduated from colleges & universities across the country (I'm an adjunct professor), & I have seen the most stupid & idiotic things come out of their collective heads. Our public school system, as well as post-high school academia is a cesspool of liberalism, socialism, communism, & globalization. Garbage In = Garbage Out. Chomsky's ideology is evil to the core.
