(thought it would work as normal due to it being water proof within certain parts of the detector), on dry land and sand worked well. My first one, so still have lots to learn

Agreed. Many people who spread ashes in the water will toss the empty container as well. Of course some drop the urn accidentally before spreading. Let's hope it was the first, or he accidentally completed the spreading of poor grandma's ashes. 😱

Hello Michael! This is my First time finding you and watching this. Very Cool!! You wanted us to leave a comment as to what that Black looking stuff,” was, with the Copper Colored Metal Band around it. It looks EXACTLY like one of those Old Anchor of a Battery, that you used to see being used more in the Past, than used much Today. They were the kind of Batteries that we’re, and still are made to a lesser degree Today, that had a Horizontal Handle, and weighed a Ton, because of that Battery that you just crumbled up. The Metal Band around the Middle, was very likely for helping to keep the the Cheap, Crude but adequate, Waxed Cardboard Outer Surface of the Battery, snug against the Battery, while at same Time, with it’s Shiny Copper Colored Finish, Making it look more Modern, than strictly a somewhat baggier Waxed Cardboard Outer Surface alone would. Those Big Heavy Batteries were also used for Camp Lanterns, and many other uses. So how did I do? Were there others who had the same conclusions?

I remember how upset I was when I lost a $40.00 dive watch on Bloody Bay wall in Little Cayman. It wasn’t that is was an expensive watch, but it was the sentimental value. My sister got it for me for my wedding/honeymoon dive trip. I got back on the boat and realized I didn’t have it. I just started crying. A lady on the boat asked me what was wrong, and I told her, about that time her husband came aboard and she was telling him what happened. He came over and handed me my watch. It was literally hanging off the the coral wall. He saw it when he was ascending to the boat. You would have thought he handed me a million dollars, I was so happy to get it back. I can only imagine loosing your wedding rings.

Cool old bottles you found Michael. I'm new to your channel and I'm wondering if you ever pick up any "sea glass" or "beach glass." Those bottle were intact but there is glass that is stone size and beautifully polished by the waves in many colors. People make beach glass jewelry out of it. I have a beautiful bracelet made of green beach glass. I would love to see you find some beach glass. :)

That object is possibly a shell fragment from an old “cannon ball” cannon projectile. Many were not round like a ball. Cylindrical of course but not a ball. Literally probably thousands of different styles and shapes over all the wars fought in the states.
