just.make a plastic scoop strainer with a handle its like a shovel with small holes sand goes right through but the pirate booty remains doing the hand job fan thing is slow asf
@arachanine4 жыл бұрын
andrew the hand waving thing is delicate and gentle. The scoop would be fast but also aggressive and it’s hard to do stuff like that controlled underwater. His hand waving can also control the suction of the water and can help him gently find things on the surface that could otherwise be moved elsewhere if he shoved a scoop into it

@barrygrant29074 жыл бұрын
Best thing I ever used to sift through bottom silt was a Frisbee. Attach a clip to it so you can hang it on your vest. Then you can use it as a scoop, a shovel, or just to gently or savagely fan away sand and dirt.

@@MydogTobesNowhere near this much. Unlike popular opinion gold like other mineral, particulates are affected greatly by saltwater or fluids containing high concentrations of sodium bicarbonates. As the ring in its current condition is as valuable as a broken record it would need to be melted down and stamped with its weight and sold as refined gold which you would get some money for but i doubt it would be enough to cover the foundry costs. The silver he found is not worth much if it is that and I have my doubts due to how rusted and corroded it is (silver does not do this it instead just turns black but remains smooth this black layer can be removed with silver polish that you can buy at an everyday shop. That silver probs has some other metals added to it and is not pure tho. All in all I would say if he went to the effort all of this would be in the range of 100-250 max.

As weird as it sounds, Most people of that era did not swim. There was an old wives tale that a human couldn't float and everyone was afraid of drowning, so no one tried.They would don their suit and wade out into thigh high water. There were still activities played in the water, but with the number of people, the artifacts would be few. Compared to say a 1950's spot, where everyone swam.

It is also the name of a classic musical play written bye Johan Ludvig Heiberg with music bye Friedrich Kuhlau, and a later story written bye H. C. Andersen, all taken from the old legends. There might have been a rich dane visiting this place.
