I was deep to the knees in mud with my Y61 in the forests of Norway, we couldnn't get any tractors in, so we had to use cars to get it out, we tried with a Navara with no luck, but when we got the good ol Y60 with wire to try it pulled the fucker straight out. The tail lights, turn signal controls on the steering column, front turn signals, and I sure some of the under hood components still in there are all worth money, also the side molding trim. Yea i think people are over estimating what it would really take to get that car out lol maybe back in the day it was hard but now? Tow trycks have like cable lines the retract or just get afat ass truck strap some ropes to the car haul it out lol

I think it has to do with the type of tow trucks and trucks in general in japan not being suitable for the task. They don't have the giant tow trucks like some other places iirc. The person that pulls this out would need an imported truck most likely and would also need to have a winch installed on said truck. If they had that and a shovel this thing would come up and out easily.

Anyone who is into offroading will tell you it would be relatively easy to get it out - it's a fairly light car. You'd need a car / truck with a decent winch, plenty of heavy rope, a couple shovels and a free afternoon.
