You are a hell of a guy Jake. My wedding ring was very similar to that one. It was stolen from me at the airport when I was going through security. One of the agents told me take off the ring and put it in a basket. When the basket came through on the other side it was gone. Like you pointed out, it wasn't the monetary loss, but the emotional loss that was so painful. Took me three years to save up and buy a replacement. Keep doing what you do!

@@jordanhofer7376 Believe it or not the NYC Port Authority actually allowed me to come back into the security room and watch the security camera feed with them. They used the metal wand all over me for a good 10 minutes just in case it got lodged in a pocket or something too. The one thing they wouldn't do was search the TSA agents or hold up the line to search the machine. I was very impressed with how helpful they were.
