Juan, I notice you found a deck of cards at one spot. If you ever find self help cards or tarot type cards, they sell fast on ebay. They don't sell for a lot, but they do sell quickly. I liked that eagle trophy too! The end table faux amplifier is cute and unique!

My least favorite was 29:09 Tarot cards - fortunetelling stuff. Those I would have put in the burn pile. The mallets are gavels; some nice ones had silver mounts. The favorite was the class ring; those have meaning to grads well beyond the metal value. I've even sold busted ones if they were old enough! The jewelry in that bag has my spidey senses tingling. The cuff links could be Anson or Swank or some version of gold-filled (more or less gold plate with an attitude). The bell is off a charm bracelet and probably is silver. The plastic shirt studs are trash.(LOL) I bet that fraternity tie tack is real too. The Lions stuff isn't; they were cheapskates, and anything turning green is straight-up brass most of the time. Most cuff links are costume - guys were too good at losing them to buy the real stuff. The cracked metal planter? Just put it down on the curb with a "scrap me" sign on it. It'll go to some scrapper who'll think he hit a gold mine! The mirror looks 80s/90s. Check the golf bag for money - golfers often toss some into a pocket so they can go to the 19th hole at the end of the game and buy lunch and/or booze without bringing a wallet.

My old Nan was what is commonly known here in England as a “Totter” she kept our family going, ten children and our Mother by doing exactly what you are doing. Only in the “Rich” people’s area. She would sell to the rag company, clothe us, sell to the scrap mental merchants. Source wood for burning, empty out derelict home, we were sent into the coal holes to collect the coal. We were poor but still proud. Never ask anyone for anything. Post war many lived like this, large families were commonplace back then. We grew up strong. 👍👍👍

Great finds. I really like the vintage mirror and the first little shelf you picked up. I really liked the clamp on desk lights. If I lived near you I would purchase them from you. I’m in a wheelchair and lights like that are great. Especially now that I’m 55 and eyesight isn’t as good. Lol. Congratulations on the gold.
