Dovetailing is for making corners on drawers and furniture. Finger joints are used to join shorter pieces of wood together to make a longer board. Tongue and groove is for floorboards. Source, I live with a carpenter. What an amazing haul! ❤

A few weeks ago I scored my very first Polish pottery piece at a Goodwill Boutique in Tustin CA. It was a 5" small pitcher for $3.99. I was so excited. Then as I left I spotted a second one same size with a slightly different pattern and same price. I love them! Today at a local Menifee CA estate sale, I scored four, 2 heavy metal and 2 glass, flower frogs. I paid $6 for all four! Also found a $3 old rolling pin and a very old $1 yard stick advertising a hardware store that no longer exists. You, Jamie and Robin inspire me!

Nicole, I’m old enough to remember our milk container on the front porch and our milk deliveries from Ricker Dairy. The chocolate milk was amazing! I still have the scar from putting my hand through the window trying to get to the chocolate milk first! I am the proud owner of one of their vintage bottles!
