Some cars are super easy to remove the glass, others might just be a big headache. Or only need the panel removed to begin with.

You can actually make transfer bolts to lay out the holes for the wing. You take the same size bolt and cut the head off and grind it to a point. Then you just hand screw them in to where the point is barely out and can make a small mark where you need to drill. It's a little time consuming but will be real precise because you're match drilling the wing.

Another good technique for marking blind holes: 1. take a piece of paper that is large enough to cover at least 2 of the mounting holes and the outline of the base of the wing. 2. either rub a pencil over the hole and wing outline or just rub the paper and it'll leave an outline of the hole indented into the paper. 3. Now, I've never done this on anything quite that large. And I'd say that the only precaution you'd have to take is just make sure your paper follows the curve of the wing or what ever you're working on and when you lay the paper out on the area to be drilled you should be able to overlap the paper (if using multiple pieces) and locate the outline of the wing along with the bolt hole locations and voila! You've got a template that can be used multiple times. This system works flawlessly with anything that gets hung on the walls and if you take your time and have just enough forethought you can square it all up on the sheet of paper and that makes it so much easier to get things level before they're even up on the wall bc it's easier to hold a piece of paper and a level than a 36 inch shelf with one hand and the level with the other while trying to hold a pencil in your mouth while marking the holes. Lol!!! I'm horrible at exolaining things in type. Much better at explaining techniques with the person and job at hand.

You wouldn’t have to go through 2 layers of metal. You just use a small hole saw to drill away the 2nd layer so you can access the hole your needing. They do the same thing in Paint-less dent repair to access dents in your hood or side panels if they’re glue tabs don’t work. You could also use a uni-bit/Christmas tree bit.

The trick with the 2 layer metal holes is to make the inner hole much bigger like a service hole. The screw and washer goes then inside and is covered with the trim.

Pro tip: Use liquid paper whitener instead of that grease. Dries quickly so leave it propped up there for a minute. Works like a charm and comes off easy.

Get a 3/4" hole saw and drill through that second layer of structure of the trunk to reach the remaining bolt holes you have. Itll more or less match the other holes that are already there

Pro tip: Make a cardboard template when ever you need to drill holes in the body of a car. Eliminates all of the guess work. I'd also invest in a set of Uni-bits.

drill the small hole through both layers then use a 1" carbide hole saw "cookie cutter" with a pilot bit on the inside reinforcement panel to make the inside hole big enough to fit the washer through make sure it lines up with the wing mounts and drill top hole to correct size 👍🏻

You should do the top of the spoiler in neon yellow and the bottom, undersides and sides in the pink. So the top flows with the coming neon yellow tint.

Another trick is to use cardboard, trace the bottom of the spoiler and then poke holes where the mounting holes are on the spoiler. Now you have a template and can use that on the car which can be positioned exactly where you want it.

Neon yellow might be sickening for later night drives like inside the car, for the time being should fit neon yellow wind deflector onto the window so even when the windows rolled down for the gap it still looks closed

I always used cardboard/paper and cut it up to match the spoiler or whatever and the bolt holes then just drill the cardboard and then redrill it on the car and use some 3m double side tape and lock tight for the bolts

You could add 3m 2 sided trim and molding tape if your worried about the wing coming lose. Lot of euro cars use only that to hold on there wings.

Cardboard Templates would make lining up the holes easy. Just use a big piece of cardboard and run all the bolts into it. Then leave it on the wing and line up the wing. Tape down the cardboard on the car and drill the holes.

1)Take a piece of printer paper and with a dirty finger rub over the holes on the wing (you will be able to see the mounting holes showing up on the side of paper you are rubbing) 2. Once you get all the holes showing, loosely tape the paper in position on the wing. 3) Set the wing down on the car and into the position you want. Gently remove tape securing paper to wing and tape paper to car in the location of your choice. And boom, now you have an accurate template. Believe me, I tried the grease method once lol

Screw bolts into the spoiler, then put grease on the ends of the bolt heads, then line up with boot, you have exact hole marks, much easier.

On a side note, if you must paint the wing do it in neon yellow you need a contrast to the pink or the visual esthetic of the wing will be lost. But in the end it's what you like that matters 😁
