Our home in Yercaud was La Four Seasons, a charming resort tucked away in a coffee estate setting away from the busy lake area. Located in five acres of verdant greenery, this cosy property is perfect for those looking for a break from the busy bustle of typical tourism. The rooms are spacious, the service friendly. On our way out of Yercaud, we also made a delicious breakfast of a local dish, Dorai curry, cooked by the chefs here.

Dorai as in Doraisamy, is a very old title for polegars, zamindars, landlords with large landholdings, slowly transferred to the later rulers British lords

Good afternoon dear Kripal - Wow the resort looks class 👌👌 I agree that the place is pristine and conveys the character of nature 👌 I see a good walking track 👍 Need to definitely stay in this place and the price is very reasonable 👍👍 Happy that Jimmy safely got you to the resort . Time for some breakfast- The dining room looks cool 👌. Have never heard of a mutton Dorai Curry . So sweet of you to serve the dish first to the GM 👍 Oh the ingredients are Drumstick, Potato & Mutton in a spicy gravy 😋😋 The combo with the sweet bun along with the spicy curry should be delicious 😋 Happy that you enjoyed the dish 👍👍 I think the sweetness in the bun & the bread is to balance the spice hit of the curry . Especially after having the spicy dish a sip of hot tea would accentuate the spice level 😀 Surprised that you didn’t take off your hat 😀 I would definitely need the number of the GM . I agree it’s a hearty breakfast indeed 👍The curry’s name Dorai is apt for you as you are arguably one of the Kings when it comes to culinary excellence 💯💯💯 Thoroughly enjoyed this short and wonderful vlog .
