@@MuhammadFakhriBinAnuar Thank you for the comment. Very interesting. It certainly does make sense that what we grow up doing and what we grow used to is just “normal” life. 🤔 Four seasons is my life. There are certainly many upsides to four seasons but yes, there are downsides as well. Spring is rough on my allergies. Summer is full of bug bites, rashes, heat and humidity. Fall is actually always pretty great for me 😊 but then Winter is cold. I have medical conditions that make it hard to regulate my body’s temperature so Summer and Winter can both be rough at times. Even though I always have lived a four seasons life, I think anyone could handle it just fine too though. You could definitely do it. The great thing about four seasons is that each season is over shortly so you just have to hang in there and the next season will be soon but I think that also makes time fly by faster probably too. I really like your comment. Actually, where I live, the majority of people dream about life in the tropics but in reality that would probably be too hard on us since it’s not what we are used to. Again, thank you for the comment. As you can probably tell, it has got me to thinking.🤔

I love this channel to the nth degree. No words can describe what a refreshing change it is from the other video formats on KZbin. The only other series I feel is comparable is Liqizi, from China. But Kiun's work is a cross between the cinematic and the demonstrative, and the documentary, which--as many have pointed out--is ALWAYS told from an outsiders view. The humanity, simplicity, and nobility of the lives led by the Yakuts--especially those living in more rural habitations, is so inspiriting and attainable. I live in a relatively cold city in Canada, known for its harsh winters, and have tended to stay inside during the winter. This has caused me to realize that I am wasting over half of my year, and neglecting the beauty and excitement not just to be had from the cold visually, but tacitly as well! For the last week and a half I've been taking cold showers, and looking at excitement at the winter scene through my window. -20, -30--and even -40 no longer feel as cold (or scary)to me now that I know there are those THRIVING at -50 and even -70 for months at a time. I just need to invest in a good pair of adult ski pants to really get out there for longer walks this winter! So inspired by this beautiful culture. Thank you for sharing it from your perspective, with wonderful narration, and incredible visual storytelling. Oh! A few questions I have, that I fear will never be answered: How did you get into this more cinematic/documentary-like video style? What does your team look like? What cameras do you use? How is this received in Yakutia, and what kind of support have you and these videos been given as a result?

minus 71 is exaggeration. It was long ago not officially recognised record. I was not registered properly, so we don't have a prove. And definitely not as low in recent years. More like minus 50-58, and a few weeks, not "months".

I love seeing how people live around the world , this feels like it’s not even on the same planet with how different you’re lives are to peoples lives in America or Europe etc, this is like a whole new world. So cool to see. The people of Yakutia are some very strong people I don’t think I would last a week out there. Thank you for sharing about your village I love all your videos they’re so peaceful❤️

Wow!! This brought tears to my eyes. No complaining, no sense of frustration, or tension, no feeling entitled. They are just simply living and providing for themselves the same way their ancestors have done for many generations. This earth 🌎 is vast and diverse.

Spong bath and adding warmed/hot water from pots over a wood burning stove or fireplace then poured into tubs of some sort, similar to what you would see in an old western movie.
