Just got mine today. I had a different lense from another camera the body doesnt work. Need batteries but seems to work. Overal a nice sturdy old work horse.

Memory lane. I had the Super model which had full manual mode and two buttons on the top plate to change shutter speeds. I hope you are able to find who lost it.

Why is the film so grainy and spotty colored? Is it an expired film?

More than likely. Unfortunately I forgot to see if there was a date on the film. Looking at the prints I suspect it’s rather old though.

have you tried gripping the filter wearing a rubber glove?

Well, I foolishly sold my me super some years ago, so in that case it was an accident of stupidity which, depending on where it went afterwards could, like a note in a bottle, have ended up somewhere across the sea. I it might be mine, you never know. if you put new light seals in in and it works, I can forward my address and you can give it a home ;)
