My fav Pentax is MX - simply adore this. I have K1000, ME Super, and ME SE. The ME is IMHO a much under appreciated camera. Yeah it ain't fully manual but ya' just gotta' get ya' head in the right space and its awesome.

Good review. I have the ME Super that offered the additional manual setting option. Look forward to seeing the next review with maybe something from that latest box you have sourced. Have you thought of doing a review of the Pentax ES II. It’s a great camera and I love using it in conjunction with the ME Super.

One of the best videos I have seen. If I may, what adapter would you recommend buying for Pentax ME camera to mount SMC Takumar lenses on ME camera?

Can you provide further insight more on how you would shoot black and white with it? If I were to shoot in a regular out door environment with tri-x 400. How would I adjust that exposure dial? and if it was snow would I go down to 1/2? Trying to make sense of that. Thanks!

The reliability point makes no sense a mechanical camera will always be more reliable and have more probabilities of being fixed than a electronic one. I have yet to find a mechanical Pentax that didn’t work and yet I have found plenty electronic ones that didn’t from the ME, ME super, Super program & P3n and just alone five of those were MEs and two were ME supers. Besides that point good review as always.
