I’ve been waiting for YEARS for someone to talk about the Ben Nye correctors. They come on so many good colors, and are inexpensive. I have them in yellow, peach and light brown.

I have always been intimidated by foundation/concealer but lately I am trying to understand the process because I am getting to a point where my eyeshadow, blush, highlighter routine just doesnt look balanced without the rest of my face having some sort of base. Wow this makes so much sense. I am silimar complexion as you. I have an orange based foundation in Double Wear that is too dark and too orange for me (2W1). I didn't know what to with it untill know. I can do my forehead and countour with that one and use my 1W2 or 2N1 for the rest. All I need is a green corrector since I have a lot of redness. Thanks for this👍

Thank you- first video I’ve seen with advice and explanations that make sense and actually flatter my light olive skin, green-hazel eyes, and ash-brown hair. What a relief not to be advised to wear yellow or orange which look terrible on me.

Love the videos would love to see more lipstick, blush and eyeshadow how to for olive skin tones. So I have some cool purples, browns, and mauves already in my collection. I think you said cool tones work best on olive tones. Already going through and sorting what is what.

I recently use Kryolan Dermacolor Camouflage Creme in shade D 1.5 and I'm so happy to find an olive shade that is light enough for my complexion. The shade D1 is also oliveish, but seemed slightly lighter or more yellow. My search for a shade match has been going on for way too many years. Because my face is pink (sun), I keep getting shade matched to cool-toned colors and they simply don't look right. Thank you for this video.

Would love if you talked about the theory of how to pick bronzer and contour colors for olive skin. Yellow foundation matches me better than pink, but bronzers that are too yellow just look waaaay too yellow. Why is that? What is better? Anything in that sort of realm. 😊

I’m looking for olive undertone bronzers. I might just buy a darker olive foundation. CXC Beauty has bronzers for all undertones there are 5 for olive ranging in depth. I mistakenly number 3 and it’s sooooo dark. I try to make it work. I’m a level Mac 25-30 depending. I need number 1 that’s how dark they are. Very affordable with coupons floating around as well.

Thank you so damn much for the is video! I have been LOST in the makeup world with my undertones. I have always gone warmer, because pink based foundations are AWFUL on me… yet the yellow is too orange. I’m like, km more Grey or green or muted!Idk know how to explain it! I have very dark brown eyes, and ash brown hair. It’s so odd. I’m absolutely going to buy that Ben nye corrector! I am happy as well, that you and I are similar depth too. Almost ever other olive person I have watched are deeper. So thank you!!!

You're the only other person I've seen use products like this, I've been doing this for a while only because I could never get things to work for me based on my skin tone so I would blend and stick things places where it looked ok, I just found out I'm olive at 27 :)

That’s a good question! I don’t like to use primers like that simply because I usually don’t like what the texture does to the skin. But I would imagine that you’re right- if you put a full coverage foundation on top, it’ll just cover it up and it won’t work- unless the product stays creamy and actually mixes in and changes the undertone of what you put on top.

I’ve never tried them! I like mixing in general, but you have to be careful with how it might affect the texture and separation of your makeup.
