I like your video , I am suffering with blackheads and redness since my teens ( I am 37 nearly ) I have tried cheap and high end products too and nothing helps _ I am actually getting depressed . I have tried everything apart from korean skincare and dermatologica. Are you doing video consultations and how much are they please ?

Rosacea is tricky. The ultra calming like from dermalogica is great but otherwise I wouldn’t look to dermalogica. Arnica and azaleic acid are good ingredients for rosacea

I’m super pale. I had almost black hair (now gray), and hazel eyes. I have an Italian grandfather. And, yes, when I hold up orange versus pink colors next to my face, pink is better. But the trick is, with soft skin tones, it is important to hold up soft peach and soft pink to get a good reading. I gave found that I’m very close to neutral. I can’t go too warm or too cool with my clothing colors. Plus, I prefer the warmer colors anyway. So having very pale olive skin, I might look better in soft cool colors, but I don’t like them. So I sit in the middle. For foundation, buy neutral and add a green color corrector and you’ll find that works pretty well.

I knew I was an olive cause my arm looked greenish compared to my sister's arm which were more peach/golden. She definitely could pull off peached toned foundations, but I looked even more greenish when I swiped a streak of her foundation onto my face 😂

My best clothing colors are olive, teal and burgundy, but not mustard. So, I searched on google to find what undertone I have, and Google said I have olive cool undertone. It said that the reason why mustard doesn't look good, is because I don't have enough yellow in my skin to pull it off. So, I'm a cool olive undertone with pale skin and yellow overtone, bluish lips and very dark blue eyes (teal). Can you imagine finding the right lipstick or foundation? Still working on that...

I’ve never had acne before and when I turned 27 out of no where it was horrible on my T zones. Anyway, I tried my mom’s dermalogica products and it helped after one use. I’m just now able to afford this product after using Clinique in the meantime for about 8 months with no results. I didn’t know where to start so thank you for this video. I’ve decided to purchase the pre cleanse, daily microfoliant, ultra calming cleanser, eye cream, calm water gel, and the age brightening serum. In which exact order should I use these products? Is there anything else you would recommend to save my face. I have scarring at this point but I think I can still recover with the right products. Thank you again!
@Sophie_theesthetician
@Sophie_theesthetician Ай бұрын
So happy that this video helped, you’re seeing results, and are finally able to invest more in your skin! Your skin routine should generally follow this order- Precleanse Second cleanse (UltraCalming cleanser) Exfoliant (or you can mix daily microfoliant with UltraCalming cleanser) Serum Eye cream Moisturizer (calm water gel) You don’t need to use daily microfiliant and the serum every day. Depending on your skin it might be best not to use them in the same day even, as they can sensitize your skin. Hope that helps!

I just want to buy the microfoliant exfoliator, is this good to help patchy makeup? I already exfoliate every day with a different drug store brand, even twice a day sometimes with moisturizer after, and primer yet it still shows up patchy on multiple areas. I’m running out of hope so please let me know if this exfoliant will actually help since its so expensive
@Sophie_theesthetician
@Sophie_theesthetician 2 ай бұрын
@@ravenphoenix-rose1266 I can’t make a formal recommendation without analyzing your skin and your current routine but exfoliating twice a day is usually not a good idea. I also am generally not a fan of drugstore exfoliants. You also might not be applying your makeup correctly. I would stop exfoliating for a week and then try daily microfoliant two days on / two days off and so on. Skip the primer and spend some extra time patting in your makeup. Hope that all helps.

Whoa! This makes so much sense. 🩷 I always thought the vein test was BS, because mine are neither blue, nor green. That’s because they ARE actually teal, just as you said. I also had a season analysis done and got classified as a summer. It was so hard to come to terms with it, because I always thought I had to be a warm season, as my overtone is so very yellow. But what brought it home - the pink/nude conundrum. The pinks that are supposed to fit my season are always…too pink. Garishly pink. And I’ve already given up on nude lipsticks😀 haven’t met one that looks good. Anyways. Thank you! This was very informative.

"You have to sweep the floor before you mop it" that is such a perfect way to describe double cleansing! As an esthetician too - LOVE the pre-cleanse and calm water gel. I'm mixed on the age bright clearing serum because it smells so strong and awful. What are your thoughts on the milkfoliant? I like that it is oat-based and marketed towards more sensitive skin!

This was really helpful. I have blue veins, dark brown hair and green eyes. If I avoid the sun I go very pale, but I tan golden very easily. I know I'm cool toned, but this explanation suggests I'm olive skinned too. My dad is from Italy so it does make sense. Lipstick shades are always a nightmare for me. Reds are hard to work with and nudes as well. Mac's Blankety lipstick and Romand's Fig Breeze lipliner (worn as a lipstick) have been my HGs.Everything else is too pink, too brown, or too flesh coloured.
