This place looks like a nightmare. Just that hill slope alone in the back would make me run away. The rain and snow off that hill will be a major problem. Please keep this going!!

Matthew, I will try but it's an enormous amount of time and effort. You and everyone else can get me to stay on task by clicking that *THANKS* text link under each video. I'm sure you understand I can spend my free time doing other things, right?

As long as there’s pitch on the pipe it shouldn’t freeze I would think. I’m just thinking as long as waters moving in the pipe it should work

Sad to say, you're wrong. In the upcoming weeks with very cold WX predicted, I'll record a video showing this pipe starting to CHOKE off with ice. It happens all around my house with groundwater seeps out of the ledge.

@@askthebuilder I wasn’t saying I was right I was just asking cause i would think if water was constantly moving it would not freeze. I have a underground pipe in my backyard for my gutters that’s only a foot in the ground. It never freezes but I have a 1/2” per foot which is a-lot of pitch but the water will always keep moving. The pipe is Sdr 35 which I don’t know if that makes a difference or not. Anyways great video and ur a man full of knowledge which I hope to learn from. 👍

The assumption you made was that the flow would continue at the rate you see. Think of the end of the pipe that's sticking out from the rock as a metal roof gutter. Think of how ice dams form. How they grow ever bigger. When it's -10F water trickling from the pipe will instantly freeze at it approaches the *end* of the pipe. The bitter cold air extends back into the pipe at least a foot or two. Within a few hours of temperatures below singled digits, the end of the pipe will be solid ice. Then the water starts to back up in the pipe and flood the entire drainage system. The entire install was botched. Go back and watch one of the first ten videos where I show how shallow this pipe is in the front of the house.

@@askthebuilder that makes sense. Now I don’t know how much pitch they have meaning from A to B what the height difference. They could of stuck the pipe up from the ground at point B so when the water goes out of the pipe the water hits the ground about a 1” to 1/2” fro bottom of pipe. Hope that makes sense.

@@askthebuilder actually now that I’m looking at it what I just described that’s how they have it. So ur saying the water will freeze falling out of the pipe
