i thought the huge statue covered by cloth was Cleon's mother... the last empress on paper. (although Demerzel is the other true 'last empress')

@@chakigun True. Maybe the eroding head with teeths exposed is Demerzel. But I might be wrong! I am also wondering if Kalle is in it.

@@helenvadermaybe the hand holding the prime radiant symbolizes Kalle? Because the fist season Kalle stands next to clearly Seldon’s hand but in season two seldon stands next to a woman’s hand

I completely missed that the line of Cleons reversed direction to fade away into the horizon in the second season. Seeing the two scenes put side by side feels so powerful. Thank you for showing this to us!

I absolutely love how the intros also disclose plot points, even if some of them we haven't been able to figure out yet. The general imagine of things falling apart is cool, the line of Cleons as you mentioned, a woman's hand holding the Prime Radiant instead a man's... It's a goldmine, and I haven't noticed most of it before I did this comparison video!

The hand at the end changed from male to female, and theres a huge ship on the left. Cleon is replaced with Seldon on the right. I want that statue of Demerzel so bad.

I thought Demerzel was the feminine face in the first season and the rotting skull in the second?

thank you for making this! i noticed the obvious differences because i started watching recently with season 2 first, now finishing s1 (the face/skull - that's a spacer's?, reversed line of cleons), but it was cool to see the colour correction and the end shots (with the vault and female hand) side by side!

In the books he knew about Daneel Olivaw and was friends with him, not sure about the series though.

There's also a third version, Imaginary Forces, the creators of the visuals, seems to have uploaded a version of S2 with different audio and color grading closer to S1.

The the entire TV Series is a convoluted mess of characters and events that had no reason to exist. Another one to the pile of 'we wanted to adapt this series, but wanted to do our own thing'.

just getting through season 2 now and man..... this is the best sci fi show since The Expanse. a beautifully dramatic blend of space opera and science fiction and so well cast. THIS INTRO SLAPS ITS A CRIME TO SKIP IT NO MATTER WHAT
