A great video these are really good surveyors I like the fact they did all that without the need for all the fancy equipment and still did it perfectly. Cheers. I would watch more like this I love to learn from people can show a more simple way to do this.. Thanks for sharing.

Dear Mohan, I have for the first time seen a useful video on construction, very practical, thanks so much. Mohan I have a suggestion, you make a DVD with all such step by step construction videos starting from this foundation laying video. However you have to refer back to the plan document and show comparing to the plan paper. Also you did not explain how you started out on the base like and what it refers to in the plan. I hope you will continue to post these wonderful videos, I am ready to buy such a video which shows end to end construction for a layman like me even if it costs Rs 5000. But as in this video it should be understandable to even laymen like me. I am sure you will sell millions of your DVD's. ALL THE BEST Mohan. Thanks Prakash.

First of all we need a Centerline drawing and a set-out drawing. Set-out drawing which shows the site plan and setback of the building , with that drawing we get the base line of the building after tieing those base lines we use centre line drawing to tie all the inner wall.

Marking is not parallel to the road. It's essential to maintain foundation line parallel to the road duly maintaining the prescribed offset using 3-4-5rule.
