Nice shout-out to Traverse City cherries, Matt! Here on Beaver Island we even have brats with TVC cherries inside…would be sacrilegious in Milwaukee but in the Cherry Capital of the universe, Michiganders (trolls) and Yoopers put cherries in everything.

I too liked the foundation much a better. The statesman gave me a Band-Aid note that I did not care for at all.

I liked Statesman more that I thought it had any right to be liked since it's a celebrity-adjacent whiskey, but that bottle went all too fast and I will doubtless buy another at some point. I have heard good things about Barrell Foundation, but haven't seen it in my area yet, but I am generally of the opinion that Barrell can do no wrong, so it's only a matter of time before I get one of those too!
