A new subscriber here it’s really lovely to see a more mature you tuber, and foundation is my obsession, I think I have about 40 high end foundations in the search for the ever elusive holy Grail of foundations! Anyway I’m loving your foundation wars please do more! Loving all your reviews generally as well. Xx

Deborah o Thank you so much. I welcome all comments both negative and positive. I can only improve with both. I do appreciate the nice ones though. 😘 I always thought KZbin was swamped with people in their early 20s. As your skin changes quite rapidly in your 30s, I thought it was about time someone did some reviews on products for people with more mature skin. Thank you for your comment x x x

I use the BB with a sponge!! And I use concealer underneath it because I live in a very hot place so I end up using way less product. However I love BB because it fades beautifully and it looks like I don’t have anything on.

Ahnaf Abdur RAhman I’ll definitely try the Dior, but I’m hoping to test it out with something I’ve not tried before. X

maybe the reason why the foundation on the Bobbi Brown side is settling into fine lines and looks heavier on the skin is due to the fact that there is too coats of fondation, maybe if they were to coats on the YSL side and will do the same to. I just think the Bobbi Brown is of medium coverage whereas the YSL is full coverage.

Hi! When you put both foundations on, your skin looked almost airbrushed and glowy on the YSL side. I was surprised that the difference was so apparent. In the future, could you please include the foundation shades in the description box? I didn't hear the shade of the YSL foundation. I really enjoy this series; I'm looking forward to the next one! Thanks!

It was B25 I think. xxx

Very beautiful foundations. However, on the Bobbi Brown side it seems that your undereye was better (it may have been due to the camera angle) and looked much smoother than the YSL side. xxx 🌹xxx

I have YSL that is too matte for my dry skin so I always apply YSl without powder and use Top secret YSL primer and that is best result! No transfer all day. For BB I test it at counter it is too fast dry I still not purchase. My favorite foundation right now is Lancome Teint Idole holy grail.

How does the YSL compare to Nars longwear radiant? I can’t decide between B.B. or Nars and now this!!! X
@PamperedWolf6 жыл бұрын
Elizabeth Mullin The Nars Natural radiant is medium to full coverage and has more of a sheen than the YSL which is also medium to full coverage but is a satin matte finish. Both are incredibly lightweight but the YSL is transfer proof and has less of a sticky finish. The B.B is no comparison. It’s lightweight but sticks to dry patches, is difficult to blend as it dries so fast, it’s light to medium coverage and leaves a matte finish. If you’ve got oily skin I’d recommend the YSL, dry skin the Natural Radiant or even the Sheer Glow by Nars. Hope this helps. X

Pampered Wolf great thanks! I’m 45 with combo skin (oily t zone, drier cheeks) so will try and get a sample of the YSL. Just daunting when so pricey!!! X

I wonder if the cooling in the YSL would help with slight puffiness ? I love the YSL it’s so beautiful.

Hmmm not sure about that Melanie xxx

They both seemed to do well. Looked really good on your face. I get that chin oil... Sucks. I think the YSL was my fave though. But, it is full coverage. Wish it wasn't quite as e pensive though. Great contest though. 💜

Hi. I have watched a few of your foundation reviews and i feel i need to ask if you use a primer under the foundation? As i never see you using one before you put the foundation on? Mhmmmm.
@PamperedWolf6 жыл бұрын
I'm only really just getting into primers. I don't have huge pores, really oily skin etc so I don't see the need for a primer and tend not to use them all the time. But I've started to use them sparingly....mostly because I've bought loads to try out for videos so I might as well use them 😃

Hi!!!! I'm really really loving your videos!!! I'm from Mexico and just start investing my money in foundations 🙈 what do you think about YSL and forever undercover??? Wich one performs better, I'm between both and don't know wich to choose!!! Please help!!!! Also, have you used before dior capture totale foundation??? Thanks in advantage!!! And congrats for this wonderful chanel!!!!
@PamperedWolf6 жыл бұрын
Hi Tania. It all depends on your skin type. If you have combo skin or oily skin the YSL will be no good for you. It's great for drier skin though. xxx

How well do you think the ysl would do on dry/mature skin?
@radmilatodorovic83356 жыл бұрын
ssquilts I have normal but acne prine skin, I'm 37 don't have many winkles, but do have some fine lines. I honestly love the YSL. I doesn't get cakey, it doesn't set into pores or wrinkles, looks great whole work day (8 to 10 hours). It's not drying, so I think it would work just fine. Maybe get a sample first as it is very expensive, but in my opinion well wroth the price tag.

ssquilts extremely well. My mum who’s 65 soon is now wearing it daily and looks fabulous x

I am so glad I've found your in the Internet space! Your videos are so informative and, most importantly for me, we have the same skin undertone and the same shades in all the high end foundations! I found your colour matching does a lot better than going to some of the stores (in my experience, not all beauty assistants can colour match correctly). Also loved your the Ordinary cosmetics review XX

The ysl was so bad on me. I had such high hopes. Thank God for samples! Im combo oily and it barely lasted 4 hrs with matte primer and setting powder. Thanks for your review. Subbed ❤️

Ashley Wright One of my friend’s said exactly the same. Samples are so important when you’re spending that much. Try the Dior undercover and let me know what you think. Thanks for your comment x x x

God you are beautiful Gemma . I need to stop watching these, we have very similar skin and age. I’ve been looking for foundations I can’t find anything that doesn’t make my texture and pores look absolutely crazy horrible. I have normal to dry skin not oily very little oils I have to worry about. It’s how EVERYTHING makes my skin look worse I’m not exaggerating at all , everything makes it look worse. Another one to put a bit of money aside for at a time. Again I will get samples of the YSL b4 I make any purchases. Xoxo

Is YSL cruelty free like Bobbi Brown is?
@PamperedWolf5 жыл бұрын
Both Bobbi Brown and YSL aren't cruelty free I'm afraid Marcy. They sell products in China where animal testing is mandatory xxx
