I have very oily skin and this is in my top 5 foundations. I always use the estee lauder mattifying primer or hourglass mineral veil and I set it with Bobbi brown sheer pressed powder or Laura mercier translucent loose powder. You should give it another try!

Erica Mari I agree that a primer and or powder could make this work for someone with oily skin. Most ppl with oily skin already know how to use products like this but just in case it would have been a helpful hint considering the shade range is pretty good and worth a try even for oily skin if you find your perfect shade

I tried golden natural best foundation ever. Definitely skin like foundation . I set it with a translucent powder and keeps my makeup oil free like all day. It does not give flat makeup which I love and love the yellow tone variety. Definitely recommend

I like the foundation because it’s very skin like! I live in a very hot place and when I sweat the makeup looks horrible. So when this one wears off you just can’t tell the difference. I also don’t like feeling very cakey and have combo skin more oily, so I wear it for occasions n stuff where I only need it to look good for a few hours. Even after it just looks nice and dewy which I like. I don’t set it too much cause it tends to separate with powders.

It depends on what you are looking for, if you are oily would def go with the velvet by makeup forever but if you have normal skin I would say the Laura Mercier Fusions. I was not a big fan of the makeup forever HD
