Another possibility for adding additional strategy to this challenge, in addition to using 1 to force another player to re-throw, you can also use 2 (or maybe 3) to give yourself a re-throw.

This is very similar to an interesting mulligan rule than an old head disc golfer brought up when playing the last few holes out with our group. You could take a Mulligan whenever, but then you'd receive a "Gilligan" which your opponents can use to make you redo a shot (can't take another mulligan on any re-throws).

while there is an argument to be made that hunter should have gotten a mulligan via OT timeouts rules however, timeouts do not carry over into OT. So therotically if you were to have given hunter mulligans you would have had to wipe the held mulligans and give everyone equal mulligans. So maybe for a next time have a pre tense of if you go to OT you get 2 mulligans no matter how many you had going into OT.

I would actually compare mulligans to fouls in basketball. You have to plan for the outcome of overtime or a playoff with the amount of fouls or mulligans you use

in one town over from me. there is a course at booneville. there is a whole that is par 3, but its 97 feet. but a huge drop off behind the basket. i usually get 2 with it

A cool idea for a game would be the players have as many shots off the tee as they want, but have to hit the same amount of putts as the tee shots to make the score they shot for but take extra penalties for missed putts

I have a suggestion. Have 7 mulligans, but on the drive only. And if someone mulligans your drive, then you have to throw a different throw. Ie: if you threw a backhand, then you would have to throw a forehand, thumber or roller. Something not similar to you other throw or throws on that drive. To make it fair, put a 3 or 4 mulligan limit per player and hole. So if Hunter had 4 mulligans played on him on hole 3, then no one could mulligan him again until the next hole. I think that would work better and would be entertaining.

Idea to add on to this. Would you consider doing the same concept with mulligans but up it to 10 that way each player can mulligan themselves. Also if player 1 tried to mulligan player 2, then player 2 could use 2 of their mulligans to cancel it? I know its complicated but just an idea

Football Overtime = each team gets 2 timeouts. It doesn't matter how many timeouts each team ended with in the 4th quarter. So going forward: ties = everyone resets to 2 Mulligans.

there should be more rules to this.. 6 reverse mulligans, 1 mulligan per player, and one non dominate hand mulligan. non dominate mulligans can be used on yourself or another player and can not be reversed. they cant be used from the tee pad. once a player uses their regular mulligan on themselves it can not be reversed. no more than 3 mulligans total per hole can be used including reverse, normal mulligans. does not incluse non dominate mulligans whatever mulligans you have left over are strokes added to your score. (doesnt include normal mulligan) overtime rules everyone resets mulligans, each person gets 2 overtime reverse mulligans

Why would you keep any of your mulligans when going to playoff? That's like getting rewarded for bad strategy.
