Why was Rather, a nobody at the time, picked as the only reporter allowed to view the Zapruder film over the multitude of reporters covering the story at the time who had some credentials in the business?

Jackie retrieving brains on trunk proves gunman on grassy knoll. Curious that Rather instructed by an Ernest Lazzer (look him up) not to mention that ... with flimsy reason that Jackie trying to get out of car. This thing getting shadier and shadier.

Very good historic telling of this horrible story.
