PDGA is a 501(c)(4), which is non-profit. I fully agree that the PDGA should be the governing body that sets the rules. And other organizations should be the competitive end of the sport.

Employee compensation is a MASSIVE expense. As a financial analyst, a team of 25-30 people can easily run you $2M a year after benefits, bonuses, travel, etc.

Once big thing to consider is that w acquisitions of Jomez and Stat Mando, the PDGA has taken on a lot more employees in the last couple of years. Not sure it makes up for the entire increase but definitely a good chunk.

My problem with the pdga is they try to promote people with disabilities to play the sport, but go against the disability act and try to stop disabled people that need equipment to get around from playing tournaments. You have to jump through hoops and get all this paperwork from Dr's and show them what device you need to get around in order to play. I myself am disabled due to a condition with my back that won't allow me to walk any distance without being in pain, so it could take me several months of chasing down appointments with Dr's in order to get said paperwork which keeps me behind on the tournaments I want to play.

In Cleveland, Ohio we play all year round. It’s a different game but still the game. There are even legit tournaments up here called like frozen fingers and what not lol. Southern DG is awesome but it gets flat quick

Shorts are shorts, the bathing ones are not so hot to wear, the only thing to consider is the mesh inside being uncomfy, otherwise i have no problems wearing them.

The full attire at the gym….i can see their logic. If they are doing disc golf specific exercises, they may just be wanting to perform in the attire they play in to get used to how it feels. I don’t think it makes much difference, but there is logic there. Also…I live in south central pa and went barefoot for two years. Everywhere. All the time. Except for the time I played in the snow with my son. I wore socks.

Dgpt will take over the pdga, just a matter of time. Pdga eating off their proprietary rating system. Disc golf is not main stream and probably never will be at this point. Greed destroyed the long term success of the sport.

The Tour Never Stopped The Tour Goes On Forever and Whining Never Ends .... Gyro Jerm is going to come back Up dialed in. All the guys smashing Tour Down Under are going to take that to March in the US....Cancer Play Book Go Throw is going pick up as the Warm Up for Waco....Bet Brandon, Robert, Jerm, KJ USA, Aiden.... Moving away from the Memorial, Shelly Sharpe and Vegas...to Florida start....changed the dynamics of the Pro Tour....Seems like playing the A tier that proceed or follow the Tour Stop is better than chasing the BS of the DGPT...

EDGE does more to grow the Sport than the PDGA. Paul Mc obviously has done a ton to bring Disc Golf to the World.... Membership has No Privileges in PDGA much less DGPT..😂😂
