Amen. I felt the Judgement of God on me last night, I felt cut off from all blessings like Esau. Pleading with God the Father that I was guilty as charged but I desperately need to be forgiven, His spirit felt so far from me like never before. It was absolutely unbearable. The accuser and deceiver destined for the bottomless pit was unrelenting in the pursuit of my condemnation, telling me to just end my life with the pistol next to my pillow. But my God is Faithful and Just to Forgive our sins, HE has already crucified Christ for our sins, and if we repent, we will be resurrected in Christ. Last night the old man died, and Christ rolled the stone off of my grave and told me to come out. Today my pastors and friends prayed with me for the filling of the Holy Spirit. He is here with me. Because the Father loves us, the Son became the sacrifice for us, so that the same Spirit that raised Him from the dead would dwell in us. My God is Alive.

Is it not truly amazing that every religion/cult knows and professes belief in the name and man called Jesus Christ? How could that be, unless He Is God Himself?! The One that is our Saviour, who willingly suffered greatly while giving His life, shedding His blood to atone for our transgressions against Him, the Father and Holy Spirit! The gospel is the work of Jesus Christ, the Son of God and what He did on the cross for all of humanity. Despite the efforts of any person, one cannot earn their way to heaven. Romans 3:23 says: "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,". Yes, sometimes we can do good, we also do evil at times. We commit moral crimes, and we rebel against God, which the Bible calls sin. We lie, we steal, we blaspheme God, and we can lust and have hate for our brother in our hearts. These are just some of the sins more than likely every person on earth has committed. We do this because we are born with a sin nature, it is a disease of the heart and we need a cure. God is loving, holy and merciful among other attributes but He is also just, perfectly just. Like any crime, sin has to be punished. If God did not punish sin, then He would be unjust. He would be corrupt. Someone has to take the punishment. Romans 6:23 says: "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.". This is talking about spiritual death, not physical death; if you die in your sins then you go to hell. There is good evidence that humans have souls. Near-death experiences are one of those evidences. There is a part of you that lives on past your physical body. God sent His only Son to earth about 2000 years ago, His Son is Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the promised Savior of the world. He fulfilled hundreds of prophecies by coming to and being in our world. Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life and was crucified on the cross as a payment for our sins. God poured out His wrath on Jesus in our place, meaning the justice of God is satisfied and sin is punished. While we were still at enmity with God, God still wants to save us, Romans 5:8 says: "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.". Three days after Jesus was crucified, He rose again proving that His payment was enough and that He was who He said He was, the Son of God. There is real-world evidence for the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This is not just a nice story. Scripture tells us to repent, to put our trust in Jesus, and to follow Him as Lord. Repentance means a change of mind which means to turn from a life following sin to a life following Christ. Salvation is a free gift and it cannot be earned. No one can be perfectly moral on their own, it is impossible. This is the only way to be in the presence of God in heaven. It is important to reiterate that we cannot save ourselves; it is the gift of God for one to be saved. God is rich in mercy and ready to forgive, cry out to Him, be sincere when coming to God, this is not a flippant thing. Repent and place your trust in Jesus Christ alone, today is the day of salvation. Ephesians 2:8-9 says: "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.". Salvation is a gift. When we are saved we become a child of God forever, nothing can separate us from Him. He gives us a new heart, He will guide us in life and help us to grow to be more like Christ. There is no other way, Jesus Himself said that He is the way, the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father but through Him. Jesus is not just a way, a truth or a life. Romans 10:9 says: "That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;".

Why is the term "New Covenant" not found in the 1689 LBCF? Are there any plans to make a correction? Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, man-made Bible doctrines fall apart. All man-made doctrines are revealed not by the scripture quoted by its proponents, but rather by the scripture they must ignore to make it work. Both Reformed Covenant Theology, and Dispensational Theology are revealed to be man-made doctrines by the rule above. Read the book "Abraham's Four Seeds" by John Resinger for confirmation of this fact.

But in my experience, we don’t cast out anything. God does. We can pray and ask God to, but we don’t. Jesus allowed that with the apostles, because they were given the power and authority to, for a specific purpose. We aren’t apostles on their mission. We however have direct access to God and can ask him to intervene.

*Limited atonement?* Just the name sounds very strange. *The work of the cross is complete, it's perfect!* When you don't find any text in the Bible to prove Jesus paid only for a few, you must be very, very careful before using your human logic. God offers salvation to *ALL who believe in His Son.* Because He paid for *ALL* of our sins. He suffered the punishment for *ALL* of our sins. Those who won't accept this true will be separated from God for eternity. That's hell. That's what the Bible says. That's the perfect and powerful gospel! Nothing limited there. Secondly, if people can't believe in Jesus, because they have not been chosen from the beginning, but He is calling us to preach to everyone out there… it would mean God is making fun of us. That's not the God of the Bible. A sovereign god that has chosen the most of humanity to be suffering in hell for trillions, and trillions, and trillions of years, without any opportunity to choose, *is NOT a loving God,* *is NOT a merciful God,* it’s a god with a corrupt heart, exactly like yours. *Once saved, always saved, no matter what you do, is one of the best lies of the devil.* The Spirit of God would never speak nonsense! All the New Testament is full of warnings, from Jesus and Paul, against the apostasy. To warn somebody when there is no danger, is stupid. The Spirit of God would never do such a thing. Jesus is not regarded by Jehovah's Witnesses as a God or as a lesser God. Trinitarian belief is not shared by them. According to their beliefs, Jehovah God is God, Jesus is God's son, and the holy spirit is the spirit sent by God to comfort his children.

@@nathanscott7910 no. How may I explain? Everything is kinda backwards. Repentance is not our requirement for salvation. Acts 16 30-31. Repentance is something that is produced by the indwelling Spirit. God chose before the foundation of the world whom He will have mercy upon, (save) . These already have been given to Christ. It's not because He predestined the elect but why. He did it for pleasure of His will. These each are Scriptures I've used to explain. Romans 9 9-24 teaches that God has already chosen. I said to eliminate injustice or favoritism Because the text proves by God stating he chose before either you or I were born, before we did any good or evil. He chose, per say on a level playing field. Makes sense? I encourage you to watch what is Reformed Theology by RC Sproul. The best teacher ever. @@johnnyangel1455 I respectfully disagree with you. No harm meant. In that line of reasoning there leaves no room for free will. Though it seems to me anyway. If it means in God's infinite wisdom chose some to go to Hell then what profit would there be from obeying Him or disobeying Him? There is no way for us humans to know which ones go to Hell and which go to heaven. It seems to me like you are saying, we have no choice in the matter.
