You are one of the few channels that tries to teach as a little opera. Thank you very much, and please keep it up.

As a beginner, this was an eye opening video for me, thank you! I really appreciate the structured approach. It was also extremely useful to learn what are the elements that give cohesion to the piece, and why each highlight is for. Finally, the fact that you sing different "versions" (e.g. clearer vs darker sounds) helped immensely when trying to find the "right" sound. Overall, this video allowed me to identify many mistakes I'm making with this piece, so now I'll be able to work on them. Thank you so much!

Could you do a few minutes on "Ah! non credea mirarti" from La Sonnambula by Bellini? I am working on this at the moment, and love it so much. My 2 favourite versions are Edita Gruberova (her last concert-I think she was about 70) and Natalie Dessay.

Should you need a suggestion, please do "Ombra mai fu". That's a heavenly song, and not crazy high. I imagine it's totally singable for a newb like me :) I love your tutorials the best!!

Thanks a lot Freya. This is extremely helpful!!! It would be nice if you included recitativo. Also it would be nice if you consider to show a lied, like "du bist die ru".

"Notturna face" does not mean "the face of the night"! "Face" is not "faccia", it means "light", in this case "starlight"!

What a boring aria, every aria of Haendel in da capo style has more freshness, variety and " Lässigkeit". Mozart was so so great in Entführung, Idomeneo and La Clemenza but da Ponte operas are nothing more than symphonies with voices 😆made for singers mit capable to sing opera seria.
