YAY! I've been working on this for many moons - and your comments about the two grip changes in either side of the windmill is what made it all work. Thank you again and again for your brilliant guidance.

Thanks for this tutorial, Emma. I've been working on this for months, clanging those hoops together then watched it again and realised where I've been going wrong. Thank you...thinking the end of the year is a good deadline now ...haha

Awesome tutorial - thank you! I just recently got this with an older one of your fountain videos that adds one three-beat when you return to the two-beat from windmill to get the left hand back on top (and I love the whole finger feel of how that blends into the grip shifts in front as you transition to the reverse two-beat...) but I'm excited to try incorporating that into an extra right hand spin before coming back to the two-beat. Terrific explanations and angles -- very well thought out.

Hoop Joy Amherst hiya, no problem. I'd have to look at my old one but I suspect I was just adding in extra beats that shouldn't be in there if you want to be able to bring your wrists around together. I think anything where the hoops go forwards to reverse and back again in a circuit while facing one direction is a fountain so nothing is wrong really :) thanks for the lovely comment and glad my tutorials have been useful xx

Yay I'm glad it helped. If you want more breakdown/ how to make it continuous (take out the stops in each position ie windmill, fwd 3 beat, rev 3 beat)/do a folded version then I made this video course: learn.hoopingmad.co.uk/courses/4WFountain It has my new way of teaching the fountain thats a lot quicker :) x

I was getting the final bit wrong. The right hand seems to lead when you are bringing the hoop down from the windmill to your left side, even though the left hand is leading. Very confusing but hopefully I can get that last bit now. Thank you for the helpful tutorial.

Now that I learned the reverse 3 beat weave all I wAnt to do this with the 3 beat. Is that ok?
@hoopingmad6 жыл бұрын
Yes that's not a problem - you can slip into the 3 - beat on either side at any point :) You just need to make sure the correct hand is on top before you do the switches xx
