Hey HJ; I always figured that viewers want to see pens and not my face, so that's why I don't video myself. But your channel is a different kind of experience because you talk about all kinds of things. Pen review videos actually serve the purpose of helping people decide whether they'd like to own one of the pens, or mabe introduce them to a pen or pen maker that they aren't familiar with. I like to gaze on beautiful pens and I think a lot of other people do too. But this is what's great about KZbin; the many options and choices we have to both entertain and inform ourselves. We can watch a fountain pen/entertainment show, watch a pen review with a dash of stoicism mixed in, or if we're having a pen problem, we can turn to a channel that will tell us how to fix it. Isn't that wonderful?

With vintage watches, as a jeweler I also recommend never polishing the scratches. Same with Native American jewelry, we recommend never polishing it to a bright shine. Like you said, yourself, it takes years or decades for scratches to build up! Well, you'll put some scratches back and soon it will be in the past tense!
