Yah it goes straight in, I already added it to the list linked in the description. I can’t say for sure if that it’s the most optimal/final iteration of the land base with the Escape tunnel, but I’d say it’s very close at least.

Wow! That's your first video and you nailed it! Congratulations! I love this deck, a long time since I saw someone playing it, ghostly flicker is absurdly cool. A improved evolving wilds got printed [[escape tunnel]] sure will get some play in this deck.

I wish you luck! My biggest advice for piloting the deck is keeping hands with a minimum of two threats, and enough pump to follow it up. The deck flounder and can auto lose to removal if you only keep one threat.

Excellent brew! I'll be thinking about this list for a while. I really like how it functions, but am gonna fiddle around to see if I can jam more filtering/gas without becoming too slow

Advice I have if you plan on tweaking the lands is to not go down on basics. If you want to try a filter land, I’d suggest 1-2 copies of Holdout Settlement or Survivor’s Encampment; they aren’t technically filter lands but they work well with the deck.

Thanks, I think towards the end of the vid some moments of no talking we’re a little too long. I’m gonna work on leaving 3-5 seconds of music between talking in the next video. The music will be staying though, I liked the vibe a lot.

Thanks for the love. I think I’ll try to get a video out every 3 weeks, as I make more I’ll get faster at it. I think next up I’ll be playing mono R Tron, I’ve been working on it for about a year now. Someone also made a R Tron list and they 5-0’d a few leagues with it recently, but we’re about 20 cards different. Next video I may do a full league, so the results will be more varied.

Really cool that this landed in my recommended feed. I can’t help but think this deck also folds to counterspells sometimes. Having your Flicker/Crop Rotation get countered when you were hoping for big damage must feel awful. Maybe you could put some Red Elemental Blast/Pyroblast in the sideboard, but don’t know if that’s viable. My local meta has a lot of U/x decks. Nevertheless, good video. Looking forward to seeing more stuff from you.

Thank you! Some blue decks can be difficult at times, U Fae being the most challenging. At one point red blasts were in the sb, but I found that during blue matchups it was often more successful to board in against our opponents game plan rather than protecting our own. The way I get around blue matchups is to prioritize keeping hands with multiple threats and getting them out early, then rather than focusing on hitting a big Crop Rotation or Ghostly Flicker, just focus on hitting land drops. It will make your opponent want to commit to the board for blockers rather than hold up mana, and that's when I slip in the Crop Rotation or Ghostly Flicker. I'm gonna test a couple red blast in the sb though, it has been a few months since I've had them in maybe I will change my mind.

i used to play this archetype with khalin heart expedition and without blue for that sweet turn with evolving + 2 landrops ghoslty flicker is a great tech doe

This looks like a fun deck, and a great video showcasing it! You talk clearly and offer good explanations about your plays and observations during the games. The volume could be a bit higher though. I also like the clear way of presenting the sideboarded cards. Perhaps you can show the entire sideboard as a list on the right/left side of the screen for some additional context? One thing you might consider for future videos; the resolution of the monitor you're playing on seems quite high (UHD?) giving you lots of space on your screen. However, this makes it difficult to read the cards in the video, as everything essentially scaled down. So maybe playing at 1080p works better? Awesome first video, keep up the good work!

I like your build. I also have a landfall deck buy i play with migratory greathorn and harrow. It never occured to me the value of ghostly flicker in the deck.

Thanks! Ghostly Flicker is what really pushes the deck. Crop rotation is by far the best card in the deck, and Ghostly Flicker is as close as you can get to playing more Crop Rotations.

Thanks for the comment. I've tried Hindering Light before which is a pretty spicy tech piece for edicts. It feels great when you can cast it, but its casting cost can be an issue at times. Tithing Blade specifically is hard to get around though because its a permanent, so if I ever think of anything I'll post it in the comments of this video or mention it when I eventually revisit this deck.

@@PauperRogue My suggestion would be a 1-of Khalni Garden. You have the Crop Rotations to find it then you can flicker it as well if you need more sac fodder. More taplands are annoying but it is the easiest answer.

My life has been crazy since starting this channel. Me and my wife found out that we are having a baby, she’ll be here in October. We have to move because of the new family member, and I’ve had to pick up more work on the side. I’ve still been doing a lot of brewing in my absence, just finding windows to record is difficult between work and taking care of my wife. I really want to return soon. I have some awesome decks lined up, and will be revisiting my last two decks as well. Sorry for my absence, I will not let it be permanent.

Ghostly Flicker can target lands, Ephemerate can not. I’m not certain but I believe Ghostly Flicker is the only non-creature flicker effect in pauper.
