We have a 21yo with Autism. Does Autism on the Seas work with individuals in this age group? I see a lot of young children.

Yes! They work with people of all ages. We had someone as young as 3 and as old as 47 in our group ☺️

How much down time do you have each day? What are the staff rooms like? I’m looking into the autism on the sea program and trying to learn as much about it as I can!

Time off depends if it is a sea day or port day. If it is a sea day we only have a couple hours off throughout the day. You will get one day off from about 9-4. Staff rooms are regular cabins. Usually interior cabins and can have up to 4 volunteers in it!

My sister in law was actually on this cruise with my son Jackson, part of Autism on the Seas and I’m 99% sure I recognize his cute little self at the timestamp with my SIL, Ellen at Coco Cay. Jackson got an award for being the most adventurous or something lolol… It looks like he did every activity and then some, and he definitely had a blast!
