What a great idea. We went on a Cruise last summer with my 25 Year old daughter with autism. An I did NOT relax a lot. But she enjoyed it. We spent a great deal of time in Our room though. Great pictures. The children seems to have a great time.

I've never heard of Autism On The Seas.....what a great group of people! The staff exposed your son to a lot of fun activities it seems! I'm sure that you and your family felt secure that he was in good hands because of the staff's experience working with autistic children. I am glad that your entire family enjoyed your vacation. How many days was the cruise?

Thank you for sharing. I have seen the Autism of the Seas cruise and vacations but I don't know anyone that has actually traveled with them. (We have never cruised before my spouse is unsure about cruises.) I wasn't' sure if it was worth the cost compared to grabbing a sale price you see one line. But, Ithink maybe it would be if we ALL want to have a restful vacation. I am wondering if my daughter would enjoy it I am glad to hear they work with all types of abilities. Do you know if they help kids try out in the kids clubs as well? How does it work with the excursions, do they go on whatever you select or are you limited in choice?

Hi, Molly. I think you would love an Autism on the Seas cruise. It was worth it for my family. They have one family outing where your assigned helper comes with you, otherwise they don't go out with you on excursions unless you pay an additional fee. We haven't gone for a while because of the pandemic, so check out their website for prices for help with excursions. The helpers in the kids club aren't with Autism on the Seas, but the people on the cruise were familiar with special needs children, so I would contact the cruise line for the kids club.If you have any additional questions you can DM on Instagram at crystalsewsandstuff. I hope you have a chance to cruise with them. We'll likely take a trip next year.
