I dont think we have a chance of getting Nico Williams because other top clubs are also intrested and the more Nico plays well the more intreast will happen, Chelsea, Barcelona and Arsenal are intrested and they will go beyound our wage structure.

Hojberg is more a CM than a DM but we always played him as a 6

@barnabyslater_ he's quite robust physically and good a ball winning so I think managers then naturally play him there due to this. Thing is he is much better at playing forward, cannot play on the half turn which is why he didn't work at 6 in our system . Actually think Ange should have played Bentacur at 6 with Hojberg at 8 whenever Bissouma was out but he would always have Hojberg at 6 and Bentacur at 8. This euros have shown he's better further forward

Yes but Dragusin was not top tier when we bought him. He is potential. Same with Romero. He wasn't top tier at the time. If Romero was available now being a World Cup winner in my opinion we wouldn't stand a chance of signing him.

Wrong! Romero won the defender of the season at Atalanta. And you know that Serie A is very serious when it comes to valuing defenders. I was very surprised when Spurs got him. Probably Paraticci masterpiece.

Big up, Barnaby! I'm really not happy. I knew & stated that it was imperative that we secure Champions League football & as a result of not securing it. We now find ourselves going backwards. Who r half these players that we r connected with. They r just not gd enough for our Spurs! If we don't get Toney. I'd b happy with David, but I think we should go for Niclas Füllkrug. I know he's 31, but he'd defo fill the void 4 now & he's only 15mil. If not maybe Lukaku. Lukaku still has a lot to offer. Second if Milan r serious about Emerson & even Peh. We should try & do a swap plus cash deal for Rafael Leão. I also like the look of Dan Ndoye as a more realistic opinion than Eze or Williams. I wouldn't b overly disappointed to also add Edwards, especially given his price tag. Would love Edison, but if not, would b happy with Onana & if Southampton do want Rodon, we should do a swap for Carlos Alcaraz or maybe Peters, if we can't Lutsharel Geertruida. We'd still have money left over to look for a proper AMF & LCB! #COYS

I would call Jonathan David, Chiesa, Geertruida and ederson as a successful window tbh, covers our main concerns without overspending and leaves room to call up youngsters too

The only thing unlikely is Chiesa coming to Tottenham, it might cost money but he fits Ange very good, plays both sides and is a leader. Jon David is nearing the end of his contract and Levy loves those. Although unsure about Geertruida, but haven't we been scouting him for a while now?

These last 30 years Spurs sacked 20 managers, spent 10 billions on 500 players and salaries and won nothing. Spurs overpay for 95% of players and sell 95% of players at a loss. Yet here we are doing the same spend spend, fail, sack the manager ..rinse and repeat. Why not try getting more out of the players we already have.

@@barnabyslater_ Spurs got 5th in a tough league with a new manager and with out Maddison Bentancur Solomon most of the season, with no Kane and badly out of form Sony, Richie and Werner and illness affected Bissouma. Spurs only need injuries to heal and rediscover the first 10 game form. It doesn't matter who the club buys the consistency is the issue. That's a coaching and managerial issue. And yes bring in Santiago Parrott Scarlett. Throwing money at it for 30 years has not worked.
