Till 24th Dec'23 , I had ZERO knowledge about MF I started watching many videos of Pankaj sir and others I gained enough knowledge and confidence about MF and began with "Direct" SIPs. Very much appreciated sir !! I wish, Internet cost could have been so cheap about 10 years ago so that KZbin would have these contents long ago itself and of-course I would started SIPs long back. koi nahi.. der se aaye par durust aaye.. To be very honest.. first few videos I watched of Sagar Sinha sir and got the basic of MF (his way of explanation is just like Khan sir) koi bhi samajh jayega bhai.. then came to Pankaj sir's YT and started gaining knowledge about MF even more deeper (technically) Thanks to YT for their algorithm (for the similar content view) Today (6th Jan'24) I know what is MF to a great extend however there is still to learn a lot *****Learning Never Ends*****

During 2015 or 2016. Mirae Asset Emerging Bluechip was best performer. It has Aum growth 📈 in parabolic curve. Later 2019 it capped investment 2500 for SIP. I think it is still good for long holdings except that presently lagging in performance which every Fund faces for a period. Your view/comment pls.❤

​@@prathiksaini18 Glad you reach out with your queries. I am individual investor, I manage my own portfolio and not SEBI registered advisor. I can, at max tell you my rationale on your query subject. I am continuing my SIP in MiraeAsset Large & Midcap, not only that increasing SIP amount. I am happy that Mirae has removed the restriction/limit of investment since 1st August 2024 onwards. I have strong belief in that FundHouse, because staying at No.1 performer for continuously 3-4 years is not easy task for any fund house. Yes recently their performance is down for almost 1.5 - 2 years, quite a time, star rating by VR decreasing day by day, but I belief they will revive their fame again, just like HDFC Fund house. Alternatively you may look for MotilalOswal (recently very good performing along with MO-Midcap, due to their superb Midcap selection, future unknown), ICICI or HSBC (previously L&T, Past heroes), Edelweiss for the same category. Pls keep separate Fund House for your different fund categories to avoid Fund house philosophy overlap risk. Good luck. 😊

Sir I understand all the other schemes but not why HDFC is on your list. You didn't explain what's the special thing about this fund, it's returns overall are lower than others. And overall ratios are also not better in any way - because Kotak's fund or even Axis Growth Opp is probably better than HDFC fund here. Please explain the thinking behind this. Thank you.

Pankaji I have been investing in mutual funds since 2005. Initially through the agents but later in 2013 shifted to Direct Plans. Owing to my previous experience I started investing in 2 funds in each category. Just now I gathered 2 things from your video. 1 expense ratio hardly matters as long as your funds beating index benchmark and having higher alpha. 2 One can invest in 2 funds in each category. Is it wise to do so? If not then please guide me.
