This is such a beautiful plant! 😉 good luck! I just had to rehab my huge Brazil because dumb me overwatered it and I started seeing brown spots on the leaves. So now I have a ton of cuttings water propagating and the mother plant looks much better. Now to repot it with better draining soil in a planter with more holes. Learned a lot from you to help me do this and not panic. I love to see your experiments and am so amazed by the resilience of plants. They just want to grow.

Awesome! I’m sure it will thrive after a short transition period 🙌💚🪴 great idea to use the rooting hormone too!! 💚🙏🏼😊

I really hope it adjust well. The rooting powder hopefully will help the roots grow better in the soil 😊🌿

I am hoping for guidance with mine! I bought a BEAUTIFUL dark form gloriosum and it was INFESTED and I had to cut off 2/5 leaves and the whole base stem, it left me with the new growth with 3 nice leaves that i potted up, and a chunk of stem, ive water propped the stem with some of the leftover soil roots and basically its grown 3 axillary buds but at this point theyve all been damaged or gone dormant 😅 should i remove the pld soil roots? my cats knocked down all my props and the gloriosum chunk was one

Be careful with rooting hormone, I’ve heard it’s not great to get on your skin or breathe in

The way you repotted the plant didn’t make sense you should have held the plant over the pot and poured the soil on the roots so it would be fully submerged In the potting mix

I actually had to repot it after filming and I did exactly that. I really just wanted to make sure all the roots were covered without covering too much of the stem. But as you can see I kind of did that method but in smaller doses

@@BotanicalBrunette ok when planting plants like gloriosum without covering the stems you should hold the plant over the pot and pour the soil over the the roots while holding the base of it. It helps to keep the plant firm in the pot and you won’t cover the stem

@@BotanicalBrunette if it works for you, keep doing it! Everyone does plants their own way!
