Marvin Miller, opening announcer. This pilot was produced for NBC's 1961-'62 schedule, and was never telecast. George Murphy had also been a Desilu vice president after leaving MGM in 1957. Ed James had previously created "FATHER KNOWS BEST" for radio (and wrote the majority of the earlier episodes), and later co-created "F TROOP" with Seaman Jacobs.
