Glad someone asked about how you can cut so straight - I didnt want to feel like an idiot for asking! I’ve come to the conclusion that you’re either born with it or you’re not! Unfortunately I wasn’t born with the ability to cut straight and it really bugs me 😑 I too am in awe of this ability; even with long scissors it turns out crooked. So I bought a whole bunch of banner dies and sentiment strips that come with their own dies, which should work for just about anything.

This card is lovely Natasha. It is simple yes, however, there is a lot of detail and interest in it. I have never thought to use multiple embossed panels like that but it is a great technique. I will be doing it now for sure xx

I will definitely try this as soon as I purchase a die cutting machine and some dies and some embossing folders and some ink and some greeting stamps and a mini-misti and some glue and... This is a lovely card. I would have never guessed it took such a short time to make. I like that you showed how you put the glue on the back. I usually use my offset tweezers and dab bits of clear glue on the larger areas of my cutout. No more doing that!

Love the card. It gives me an idea in how to use my embossing folders. Even when I measure, I still have problems with cutting straight. If I didn't have a paper cutter, I wouldn't have a straight line. Even with long scissors. lol

Using different embossing folder is a good idea, then a contrast ink over the top makes them pop. Using grey for matting works too.
