Four Patch Square Up Tool by Deb Tucker's Studio 180 Design

Four Patches; basic units that seem so simple to make. Just stitch 4 squares together and you’re good to go . . . but anyone who has attempted these units knows that they are notoriously difficult to make perfectly! Either the unit size isn’t quite right, the edges just don’t line up, or they’re just not quite square. Well, the Four Patch Square Up Tool is the solution!

Hi deb It is such a pleasure to watch your videos I have to go to my local library to see these as our area does not have internet access. Question for you. Where in michigan has your tools. A quilt store about 45 min from me does not carry any of your stuff. And just out of curiosity. Does your site ever have a clearance section? Please keep up the great work you do

Love this tool! I wish you had one to trim up little star blocks...I am making 2 1/2” finished star blocks and they are a real pain for me to try and square up.

Im doing 9" 4 patch. I have a 12" square ruler. Havent a clue where to lay the ruler, align the seams, etc. They are done so i can do this method next time but what about this time? How did ladies do this before all the rulers?

Perhaps I missed this on another video but what tool would you use to make three even squares in a row? Could this be one of your techniques I have missed?

I actually don't have any tool or technique for making 9 patches . . . but if there's enough interest, I could be persuaded to pursue that avenue for development!
