Milon's Secret Castle is a banger but it's confusing where you're suppose to go. You have to shoot blocks to find secret paths.

Tip for those who are collecting loose game boy advance and DS games. Get a small resealable container With a colorful lid. It will protect them from dust and you'll be able to find them.

5:01 The Sega Retrobit controllers are officially licensed by Sega. I have a wireless Saturn one with four shoulder buttons and dual analogue stick which remind of the ones on the Switch, but it still has the 6 buttons on the face. It is by far the most versatile controller I own. But the classic style ones feel very authentic, when I compare it to my actual Saturn and Megadrive/Genesis controllers it feels just like them, and it came with wireless adapters for both the Saturn and for USB. The build quality is top-notch too. I also have a wireless SNES controller from them with dual analogue, and again it feels just like and original, a little heavier but not so much it causes fatigue. Retrobit controllers are worth checking out if you haven't already.

Manhattan has Video Games New York in Cooper Union which has wall to wall retro games, plus the Nintendo World Store. Also there’s J&L Games in Chinatown on Elizabeth Street and Canal along with Chinatown Fair Arcade a little further down from there.

They are really cool stores. I found a Japanese copy of super smash bros melee for like 15 bucks a few months ago at one in Virginia. Really cool finds. Also got a good movie haul there.

The one thing I would have purchased in that Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Pro seen at 07:30, such a great joystick. I still have it Big Brother, the Force Feedback Pro. The Force Feedback Pro was a fantastic joystick with great Force Feedback in games like Combat Flight Simulator and Freespace 2, the best space combat game there has ever been. Force Feedback joystick cannot be used anymore as it needs an old fashioned gameport and full midi support to function. The Precision Pro with USB adapter still works, even with Windows 11. They don't make Force Feedback joysticks anymore 😥

Sonic 3 genesis was a good deal. Pal version is butchered. Last time I went usa I didn't buy much, I bought a green n64, waverace 64 cart and a genesis 2 hdmi cable. Burnout 3 PS2 is one of few pal games which runs at 60hz in progressive mode and looks amazing. Not sure if you have one but I highly recommend you buy an American GameCube and get it modded. It will support component for the hdmi adaptor. I believe pal games work on it as long as you use hdmi or component. I bought 2 Japanese machines and modded them.

I'm on the fence with the things on display and if there for sale. So things like statues, props, displays - yeah it's obvious they're not for sale but I think this modern wave of KZbin and gamers having their displays set up is rubbing off on independent game shops who know people with cameras are coming in so they then display rare cool bits that they have no intention of selling - and yes that's completely bonkers. Imagine going into argos placing an order and them saying nah sorry that's for display out back for our pickers. Tell ya what ya can screen grab the page it's on the catalog. Its all about the visual clout these days and it's ridiculous. I'm only on the fence because I can justify why there doing it and the usual not for sale stuff but I still think it's a joke.

Too bad you didn't stay too long in the US here as you just missed the longest yard sale going thru 5 states with alot of those games you showed off as super cheap in some sales, like the sonic 3 and mortal kombat in box complete found them for $5 each along with a large lot of gamecube and PS2 games that didn't have many great titles. Anyways it was fun an the sales go until Sunday in most areas lol
