This ballet was first performed at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden in March 1975. The Quartet performing is the Alberni String Quartet. Howard Davis and Peter Pople violins , Berian Evans viola and Gregory Baron 'cello.

I feel kinda sad to know some of Dowell's incredible dancing and full length ballets do not seem to exist on dvds. I want to see his version of Romeo and Juliet, Sleeping Beauty, Manon, Giselle, Le spectre de la rose, Don Quixote 😭😭
